Broiled Tomatoes with Dill Sauce

 Ingredients List

  • 3 Large; firm tomatoes
  • Butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c Sour cream
  • 1/4 c Mayonnaise
  • 2 tb Chopped onion
  • 1/4 ts Dill
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • Pepper to taste

 Directions

Cut tomatoes in half and core. Dot tomato halves with butter and broil 3
inches from heat for 5 minutes. Make sauce with remaining ingredients and
spoon on tomato halves. Sauce may be served at room temperature or heated.
Yield: 6 servings.
