Pork Chops and Rice

 Ingredients List

  • 6 Pork chops
  • Flour and salt
  • Oil
  • 1 md Onion; chopped
  • 1 tb Butter
  • 1 cn (4-oz) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c Raw rice
  • 1 cn (13.75-oz) beef consomme

 Directions

Flour and salt pork chops; brown in oil. Saute onion in butter. Add
mushrooms. Place rice in casserole; top with onions and mushrooms. Place
pork chops on top. Pour consomme and small amount of water over all. Cover
tightly and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
