Asparagus and Portabello Mushrooms in a Spicy Garlic Mustard Sauce

Ingredients List
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 8 oz portabello mushrooms wiped clean
- 1 pound of asparagus trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons of spicy mustard
- 2 teaspoons of worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
- Salt and Pepper
Directions
Heat a sauce pan over medium high heat
Add mushrooms and sautee until most liquid has evaporated and mushrooms begin to get golden
Add olive oil to pan
Add garlic and cook until aromatic about 1-2 minutes
Add asparagus and stir until vegetables are coated
When asparagus is bright green push vegetables to one side of the pan
On the empty side of the pan add worcestershire, chicken broth or wine and mustard and stir to combine
Once combined mix thoroughly with vegetables
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Remove from heat and serve
