Ingredients List
- 4 medium avocados
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice about 1 1/2 limes
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Directions
Place metal loaf pan into freezer to chill. Remove flesh of avocados and place into a blender. Add lime juice, water, and sugar. Blend until completely combined. Give the mixture a taste. If you want more lime flavor, add some zest or some extra juice.
Place mixture into a medium bowl. Take a piece of plastic wrap and place it directly onto the mixture. This will keep the mixture from turning brown. Place in fridge to chill for 2 hours so it's nice and cold.
Once avocado mixture is cold, it's ready for the ice cream machine. Follow the instructions on your ice cream machine to turn this into sorbet. It should only take about 5-10 minutes to freeze. Once frozen, it's thick enough to eat now or you can place in the metal loaf pan to harden even more, if you prefer. I like mine ultra creamy so I eat it right away. Enjoy!
