Baked Artichoke Hearts

  • Artichoke hearts are good with a sprinkling of olive oil, dried basil to
  • taste crumbled over, salt and freshly ground pepper to taste, and a tiny
  • bit of balsamic vinegar -- all micro-waved for about 2 minutes (just to
  • marry the flavours) or heated in a regular oven for maybe 8 minutes at
  • about 325F.
  • This is good for antipasto or appetizers, great with chunks of feta and
  • chopped sun-dried tomatoes.

1 bn Green onions; chopped
6 Cloves of fresh garlic;
-minced finely, up to 8
8 oz Cream cheese; at room temp.
16 oz Sour cream
12 oz Shredded cheddar cheese
1 cn (14 oz.) artichoke hearts;
-drained and cut into
-quarters (water packed not
-marinated)

I was just mixing this up for a party I'm having on Sunday and thought you
all would enjoy the recipe. This is soooooo good and simple. I always hope
to have leftovers and I end up eating it for lunch (or even dinner) the
