Baking Powder Kentucky Biscuits

Ingredients List
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1â„2 tsp baking powder
- 1â„2 tsp baking soda
- 1 dash salt
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1â„2 cup butter
- 3â„4 cup buttermilk
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in buttermilk. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 2 minutes. Transfer to an ungreased baking sheet, roll into a 6 x 6 inch square, and cut into 12 even sections. Do not separate.
3. Bake for 15 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Separate biscuits and serve hot.
