Banana Nutella Swirl Muffins

Ingredients List
- 2 cups Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (Bleached flour toughens baked goods)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 medium over-ripe bananas mashed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- Nutella as needed
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Line muffin pan with paper liners.
Spray liners with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, coconut oil and vanilla.
Mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
Stir in the flour mixture and almonds with a wooden spoon until just moistened.
Fill muffin liners almost to the top.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of Nutella on top of each muffin.
Swirl Nutella into the muffin batter with a bamboo skewer.
Bake muffins for 5 minutes at 425°.
Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking an additional 15-19 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
