Batas a Portuguesa - Portuguese Fried Potatoes

 Ingredients List

  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 1/4 c Oil (olive oil may be used)
  • 750 g Potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • -1/4" thick rounds
  • 1/2 Level teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Level tablespoon finely
  • -chopped parsley


1. in a pan heat butter and oil. fry potatoes on both sides until golden
brown. 2. season potatoes with salt and pepper, transfer to a heated plater
and serve immediately sprinkle with parsley. serves 4
