Bean Dip with Chorizo

 Ingredients List

  • 1 lg Onion,, chopped
  • 1/2 lb Chorizo,, skin removed
  • 1 cn (4 oz) chopped green chiles
  • 2 cn (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 c Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 c Shredded monterey jack
  • -cheese
  • 1 ts Chili powder,, or to taste

 Directions

Crumble chorizo in a large heavy skillet and cook just until the fat starts
to gather in the pan. Add onion and cook until onion is transparent; drain.
Add remaining ingredients and cook until all is hot and the cheeses are
melted. Serve hot with tortilla chips or corn chips.
