Beef with Green Peppers
Ingredients List
- 12 oz Beef; cut in thin strips
- 1 tb Cornstarch
- 1 tb Sherry
- 1 tb Soy sauce
- 1 tb Grated fresh ginger -or-
- 1 ts Ground ginger
- 5 tb Shortening or oil
- 2 c Bell pepper cut in thin
- -strips
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1 tb Soy sauce
- 1/2 tb Sugar
Directions
Dredge beef with cornstarch, sherry, 1 Tbs soy sauce & ginger. Heat oil &
saute beef strips. When beef changes color, remove to a plate & in
remaining oil saute bell peppers for 1 minute; add salt. Combine beef,
peppers, 1 Tbs soy sauce & sugar. Heat well. Serve on rice.
