Best Pecan Pie Ever

 Ingredients List

  • 3/4 cup tapioca starch
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 5-6 tablespoons filtered water
  • FILLING
  • 3 eggs hormone free, omega 3 enriched
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • 2 cups pecan halves

 Directions

1. PREHEAT oven to 350º

2. CRUST. Stir together crust ingredients except the oil and water. Add oil using a pastry blender. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time until it forms into a ball. Roll out on a well (GF)floured surface. Place in pie pan and shape it really cute :) Refrigerate.

3. SAUCE. Stir together all of the sauce ingredients with a spoon. Remove thepie shell from refrigerator and pour the sauce into it.

4. For safety, place a large cookie sheet under the pan as it cooks, in case of spill over. Bake for 25-30 minutes. This pie needs to be cooled and refrigerated 2 hours prior to serving. Store in the refrigerator.
