Blueberry Smoothie with Basil and Ginger

 Ingredients List

  • 3 dl / 1,25 cup wild blueberries
  • 1 banana (frozen or fresh and ripe)
  • 2 dl / 0,8 cup milk (or a non-dairy milk like oat milk or almond milk)
  • ½ avocado
  • juice of ½ lime
  • 1-2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • handful of fresh basil
  • (handful of fresh baby spinach)


Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
If you a making this for kids, you might want to add first just a little ginger and basil, beacuse their flavours are quite strong.
I put the baby spinach optional, because sometimes I add it and sometimes I leave it out. I think it's delicious both ways.
