Boiled Custard #2

 Ingredients List

  • 1 qt Milk
  • 2 Egg yolks; beaten
  • 2 tb All-purpose flour
  • 2/3 c Sugar
  • 1 tb Butter or margarine
  • 2 Egg whites; stiffly beaten
  • 1 ts Vanilla


Mix beaten egg yolks with sugar, flour & small amount of milk. Add rest of
milk & cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Bring almost to a boil.
Cool. Add butter, vanilla & beaten egg whites. Serve cold.
