Bourbon Chicken Recipe

 Ingredients List

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3/4 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

 Directions

1. Heat oil in a skillet - add chicken and cook. Place cooked chicken aside.

2. Add all the remaining ingredients into the hot pan. Heat and mix until dissolved.

3. Simmer for 20 minutes - stir a few times

4. Add chicken till chicken is warmed through.

5. Serve over rice

6. Enjoy!
