Braised Kikko-Chicken

 Ingredients List

  • 3 lb Frying chicken pieces
  • 1/4 c Flour
  • 2 tb Vegetable oil
  • 2 Celery stalks; chunked
  • 2 Carrots; chunked
  • 1 md Onion; chunked
  • 1/3 c Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 ts Oregano, crumbled


Coat chicken with flour and brown in hot oil; remove. Saute celery,
carrots and onion in same pan 2 minutes. Combine soy sauce and oregano
with 1 cup water; add to pan with chicken. Cover and simmer 45 minutes,
or until chicken is tender.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
