Braised Red Onions
Ingredients List
- 1 oz Butter/margarine
- 4 lg Red onions, thinly sliced
- Salt & freshly ground black
- -- pepper
Directions
Melt the butter in heavy-based pot over a moderate heat. Add the onions &
cook gently till translucent. Season, then cover & simmer over a very low
heat for 20 minutes. Stir & transfer to a warmed serving dish.
