Broccoli Salad

 Ingredients List

  • 2 lg Heads of broccoli; cut in
  • -small pieces
  • 1 lb Bacon; fried and crumbled
  • 1 md Onion; chopped
  • 3/4 c Raisins
  • 3/4 c Sunflower seeds; salted


1 c Mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 c Sugar
2 ts Vinegar

In a large salad bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, onion, raisins and
sunflower seeds. To make dressing, combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
Pour dressing over salad ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate at least 3
hours or overnight preferably. (For a low-fat salad, use low-fat mayonnaise
and bacon bits that have been soaked in hot water to bring out the bacon
