Brown Rice Peach Crisp

 Ingredients List

  • 3 c Cooked brown rice
  • 1 cn (29-oz) canned peach slices;
  • -drained; cut in chunks
  • 1/2 c Honey; divided
  • 1/2 c All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 ts Ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 1/3 c Chopped walnuts (optional)


Combine rice, peaches, and 1/4 cup honey in greased 8x8x2-inch baking dish.
Combine flour and spices in a small bowl; cut in butter until mixture is
crumbly. Sprinkle flour mixture over rice; drizzle with remaining 1/4 cup
honey. Sprinkle nuts on top, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes.
Serve warm.
