Brownie Pudding Cake

Ingredients List
- 1 c Flour
- 2 ts Baking powder
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 3/4 c Sugar
- 3 tb Cocoa
- 3/4 c Milk
- 1 1/2 ts Vanilla
- 2 tb Shortening or margarine,
- - melted
- 1 c Chopped nuts
- 1 c Brown sugar
- 2 tb Cocoa
- 1 3/4 c Hot water
Directions
In mixing bowl, combine until smooth flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, 3
tablespoons cocoa, milk, vanilla, shortening or margarine. Add nuts. Pour
into greased 8-inch square pan. Combine brown sugar and 2 tablespoons
cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over all. Bake at 350 degrees
for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8. Serve warm, topped with ice cream, heavy
cream or milk. Preparation time: 15 minutes
