Butterfinger Blondies

Ingredients List
- BLONDIES:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- 2 cups coarsely chopped Butterfinger Bars (approx 16 “Fun Size” bars)
- BUTTERFINGER BUTTERCREAM:
- ½ cup room temp butter (1 stick)
- ⅓ cup vegetable shortening
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- ½ cup chopped Butterfinger Bars (approx 4 “Fun Size” bars)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray.
Cream butter and sugars in mixing bowl. Add the vanilla and eggs and mix until incorporated.
On low add your dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in your chopped Butterfinger. Spread in prepared pan.
Bake for 21-23 minutes until center is JUST set (DO NOT OVERBAKE!). Remove from oven and cool completely.
To make the frosting: Cream the butter and shortening and vanilla together until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla mix until smooth. Spread on cooled blondies and sprinkle with chopped Butterfinger.
