Buttermilk Honey Walnut Bread

 Ingredients List

  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk or soured milk
  • 3 tbsp. walnut oil
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 1 cup whole rolled oats
  • 1 cup diced walnuts
  • 2 tsp. yeast
  • 4 tsp. vital wheat gluten

 Directions

Place ingredients in bread canister in order listed.
Bake on whole wheat setting.
Allow bread to rest 15 minutes before removing from breadmaker.
Invert bread and brush top and sides with butter to prevent crust from hardening.
Allow bread to rest 15 more minutes before slicing down.
About 12-14 slices.
