Canadian Shortbread
Ingredients List
- 1 c Butter softened
- 1 c Icing sugar; (powdered)
- 1 c Corn starch
- 2 1/2 c Flour
Directions
Cream butter real well with beater. Add icing sugar in 3 parts beating very
well after each addition. Add corn starch in 3 parts beating well again.
Add flour gradually beating well. Flour counter - break off small pieces
and pat and cut with cutter dipped in flour. ( round cutter about 2" to
2-1/2" diameter)
Bake at 300 degrees - maybe 20 min. Bake just until bottoms are slightly
brown, cookies should be white on top.
