Candy Apple Cupcakes

Ingredients List
- 15 oz yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup Mott's Apple Juice
- 1/2 cup Mott's Applesauce
- 3 eggs
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and chopped fine (or shredded)
- 1/2 cup Candy Apple M&M's
- 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
- For the Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl, stir together cake mix, cinnamon, and allspice. Add in water, apple juice, applesauce, and eggs and beat with an electric mixer until well combined. Gently stir in chopped apple. Divide evenly among 24 lined muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool completely. For the frosting, beat butter until fluffy. Add in powdered sugar one cup at a time while beating. Beat in milk, vanilla, and cinnamon and blend until fluffy. Frost cupcakes as desired. Garnish each with a Candy Apple M&M and drizzle with caramel.
