Caramelized Onion & Steak Quesadilla

 Ingredients List

  • ½ of a steak
  • Havarti cheese
  • Thyme
  • Onions
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Butter
  • 1 tortilla (I used tomato flavoured)
  • Garden vegetable cream cheese
  • Tomato based pizza/pasta sauce


Get a pan large enough to fit your tortilla on medium heat, add butter and saute the onions. Once the onions become clear, add in your steak slices, along with a pinch of thyme. Cook this for about a minute, add barbecue sauce and mix until coated, once this is done take your steak and onions out of the pan.

Take your tortilla, spread cream cheese on one half and pasta sauce on the other half, add cheese on one side, then your steak and onions and then more cheese! Melt some butter in your pan until it”™s sizzling and fold your tortilla in half and cook until golden brown on each side. Then devour!
