Ingredients List
- 1 sheet puff pastry defrosted but still cold
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 3 large garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley and basil
- 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella, gouda, or anything you like!
- 1 tbsp. parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Lay your dough out flat and use water on your finger to smooth out any seams. Place dough on a cookie sheet with either parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet.
In a small sauce pan, melt butter. Once melted, add garlic and dried herbs. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until garlic is fragrant.
Roll dough up into a log and cut 3/4 inch slices. Spread slices across the cookie sheet. Spread each piece with remaining butter, then sprinkle with fresh herbs and the parmesan cheese. Refrigerate your dough for 10-15 minutes to ensure it is still cold. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until puffy and golden brown.
Remove from oven and serve warm or at room temperature with marinara sauce or plain.
