Chicken Glace
Ingredients List
- 2 pk Unflavored gelatin
- 3 Chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cn Chunk chicken
- 1 c Green onion tops; chopped
- 1/8 ts Tabasco® sauce
- 1/4 c Fresh parsley or 1 tbsp.
- -dried parsley; soaked in
- -water and pressed dry
- 1 1/2 c Boiling water
- Hard boiled egg; chopped,
- -optional
- Pimentos; optional
Directions
1. Dissolve gelatin and bouillon cubes in boiling water.
2. Chill until slightly thickened. Add remaining ingredients and chill
until set.
Notes: The chopped hard boiled eggs and pimentos add color, but you must
increase seasoning somewhat if they are added. This is a no fat version of
hogshead cheese and is excellent as either a salad or a canape.
