Chicken Paprika, Light Version

 Ingredients List

  • 3 lb Chicken breast halves
  • Without skin -- cut up
  • 1/4 c Oil
  • 1/4 c Onion -- minced
  • 1 c Mushrooms -- sliced
  • 1 cn Tomato soup, condensed
  • 1/2 cn Water -- if needed
  • 1 c Sour Cream, Imitation
  • 1 Whole bay leaf
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/4 ts Pepper


Lightly dust chicken with flour. Saute quickly until browned. Remove from

Saute onions & mushrooms until lightly browned.

Blend in rest of ingredients, bring to a simmer. Add chicken, and simmer,
covered, for 30 to 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.

Remove bay leaf before serving.
