  • â…“ cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup of potato, diced

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon celery seed
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • â…” cup milk
  • 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts

2. While the chicken mixture is boiling cook the onions in butter over medium heat until they”™re soft and translucent. Stir in the flour, garlic salt, pepper, salt, and celery seed. Slowly stir in chicken broth and milk. Simmer over medium-low heat until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Place the chicken mixture in the bottom pie crust. Pour the hot liquid mixture over top. Cover with the top pie crust, seal the edges, and cut away the excess dough. Make several small slits in the top to allow steam to escape. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
