Chilli-infused Margaritas

Ingredients List
- <><><><>< chilli-infused simple syrup ><><><><>
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 red chillies, sliced in half from the stem down
- <><><><>< For the margaritas ><><><><>
- 150ml blanco tequila (silver)
- 150ml triple sec
- 150ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 100ml chilli-infused simple syrup
- 3 cups roughly crushed ice
- 3 limes, thinly sliced
Directions
1. To make the syrup, bring the ingredients to a boil and allow to bubble for 5 minutes until thickened slightly.
2. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
3. To make the Margaritas, combine all the ingredients in a large jug and allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving in tumblers with ice.
