Chocolate Bit Fudge

Ingredients List
- 4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 23 ounces evaporated milk
- 2 (12 ounce) packages semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla
- OPTIONAL:
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows (or marshmallow bits)
Directions
Prepare a large 15.5 x 10.5 jelly roll pan by lining it with parchment paper or foil.
Over medium-high heat, melt the butter with the sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil, and allow to boil for 5 minutes while stirring.
Remove from heat and add to the boiling mixture the chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
If desired, press the chopped nuts and marshmallows into the top of the fudge. Allow to cool completely before cutting and packaging.
