Chocolate Branches
Ingredients List
- 1 pk Frozen puff pastry; thawed
- 6 oz Semisweet chocolate chips;
- -very finely chopped
- 4 tb Hazelnuts; finely chopped
- -(or nuts of your choice)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400.
On a well floured surface, place one sheet of pastry dough and roll into a
12" x 12" square. Spread half of the chocolate and nuts evenly over half of
the dough. Fold over dough and roll our into a 7" x 14" rectangle. Cut
pastry into 1/2" strips. Holding one end of each strip, twist the dough 4
or 5 times. Place dough strips on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10
to 12 minutes or until pastry is puffed and brown. Repeat with second sheet
of dough.
