Ingredients List
- Wet Ingredients:
- 2-3 Ripe bananas
- ½ stick room temperature butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ c light brown sugar
- Dry Ingredients:
- 2 C Whole Wheat Flour
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
Directions
Wet Instructions:
Start by mushing the bananas with a fork.
Once the bananas are mushy add the stick of butter and blend until creamy, adding in one egg at a time.
Next add the brown sugar and vanilla teaspoon and beat until you have a smooth consistency.
Dry Instructions:
Pre-heat oven to 350.
Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl until they are incorporated.
If you have a stand mixer you”™ll want to put on your bread attachment at this point. Let”™s marry the wet and dry ingredients, shall we?
Add a cup of dry ingredients at a time to the wet ingredients and mix until the dough comes together. Now let”™s get CRAZY! Add 1 c of semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels and stir!
Grease your bread pan and pour your mixture in. Make sure the mix is even in the pan.
Bake in the oven for 55-65 minutes. To ensure the bread has baked all the way you can use the tried and true tooth pick {or fork!} method. Stick in the toothpick and if it comes out clean, it”™s done!
