Chocolate Frosted Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients List
- e eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, sifted
- ½ cup walnuts, toasted and finely chopped
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- Chocolate Frosting:
- 7 ounces milk chocolate, broken into small pieces
- ¼ cup light cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter an 8x10-inch baking pan and line with baking paper, extending paper over long sides of pan. Set aside.
Brownie:
Place butter and cocoa powder in a saucepan. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly. Whisk in brown sugar until smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, about 2 minutes. Whisk in eggs and vanilla. Gradually whisk in sifted flour until blended. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
Spread batter into prepared pan, pressing on sides to even out. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until just set. Cool completely in pan. Chill, if desired.
Chocolate Frosting:
Place milk chocolate chips and cream in a pan over low heat, stirring constantly until fully melted. Pour into a bowl and chill for about 20 minutes or until thick enough to spread.
Spread over top of brownie and chill for 10 to 15 minutes or until set. Cut brownie into bars and serve.
