Ingredients List
- FOR THE PIE CRUST:
- 10 graham crackers
- 8 oz butter (1 stick) melted
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- FOR THE PIE:
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup white Karo syrup
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. In a small pot melt the butter. Set aside.
3. In a food processor or in a plastic baggie crush the graham crackers.
4. In a bowl add crumbs pecans and sugars. Pour in butter and mix with a fork.
5. Press into the bottom and sides of 9 inch pie pan. Set aside.
6. Mix well sugar, Karo syrup and butter.
7. Add slightly beaten eggs.
8. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
9. Pour into pie pan.
10. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 300F and continue to bake for 25 minutes. Pie should jiggle slightly in the center when done.
11. Completely cool. Serve and ENJOY!
