Chocolate Sauce #3

 Ingredients List

  • 3 (1-oz) squares unsweetened
  • -chocolate
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c Light Karo syrup
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 1 c Evaporated milk
  • 1 ts Vanilla

 Directions

Melt chocolate over hot water in double boiler. Add sugar and syrup and
blend thoroughly. Add water and mix. Cook to a soft ball stage (235ø).
Remove from heat and add milk and vanilla. Stir. Will keep in closed jar in
refrigerator indefinitely. Heat to serve. Yield: approximately 2 cups.
