Christine's Hot Chili
Ingredients List
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 lg Onion -- chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic -- crushed
- 1 tb Chili Powder
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1 ts Ground Cumin
- 1 ts Dried Oregeno
- 1 ts Cocoa
- 1/2 ts Red Pepper Sauce
- 1 cn Crushed Tomatoes (16Oz)
- 1 cn Red Kidney Beans
- (15 1/2 Oz) Optional
Directions
This is the best recipe I've tried. Spices are for a milder chili. I happen
to like mine very hot, so I double the spices. Cook beef, onion and
garlic in 3 qt saucepan & drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except
beans. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Stir in
beans. Heat to boiling. Simmer uncovered 20 minute. To serve, top with
shredded cheddar cheese and enjoy. Hope you like it as much as we do.
