Christmas Popcorn Teddy Bear

Ingredients List
- 18 c Popped popcorn
- 1 c Light corn syrup
- 1/2 c Sugar
- 1 pk (4-serving size) Jell-O
- -brand gelatin; strawberry
- -or lime flavor
- Jelly beans or gumdrops
- -(optional)
- Ribbon (optional)
Directions
PLACE popcorn in large greased bowl. Combine corn syrup and sugar in
medium saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly; boil 1
minute. Remove from heat. Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Pour over
popcorn; toss to coat well. Cool 5 minutes.
FORM about 2/3 of the popcorn mixture into 2 balls, one larger than the
other, forming bear's body and head. Shape remaining popcorn into arms,
legs and ears; attach to body and head. Use jelly beans or gumdrops for
eyes and nose. Attach ribbon bow tie, if desired.
Popcorn Balls: Prepare popcorn mixture as directed; shape into 2-inch
balls. Makes about 2 dozen popcorn balls.
NOTE: For ease in handling, grease hands slightly before shaping popcorn
mixture into desired shapes.
