Clam Chowder

 Ingredients List

  • 1 c Chopped onion
  • 1 c Chopped celery
  • 2 c Chopped potatoes
  • 2 cn Minced clams
  • 1 tb Apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 c Butter/margarine
  • 3/4 c Flour
  • 1 qt Half and half
  • Salt and pepper


Pour clam juice and vinegar over vegetables, add water just to cover.
Simmer 30 minutes. Melt butter, blend in flour, cook 1 minute, then add
half and half. Cook until smooth and thick. Add 1/2 ts salt and pepper to
taste/ Last add vegetables and clams, cook in crock pot at least 1 hour
until flavor is through.
