Ingredients List
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 2 TBS sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 pinches salt
- 8 slices Texas toast
Directions
1. In a large bowl whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt together.
2. Heat griddle to 350. (Or a skillet to medium heat.) Grease griddle with margarine or cooking spray.
3. Dip bread in egg mixture for 30 seconds on each side.
4. Place on griddle and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown.
The first few slices may take a little longer to cook, but once the griddle is heated completely, the remaining slices may cook faster. Be prepared so you don”™t end up with any burnt french toast. (Not that this has happened to me before or anything.)
