Corn Bread

 Ingredients List

  • 1 c Cornmeal
  • 1 c Flour
  • 3 ts Baking powder
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 c Milk
  • 1/4 c Salad oil or melted crisco


Mix to-gether flour,cornmeal,baking powder and salt.Beat egg;add milk and
oil or shortening.Add to dry ingredients,stirring just enough to
moisten.Pour into greased 8 inch square pan and bake in 400 oven 30 min.
