Corn Chowder

 Ingredients List

  • 4 sl Bacon; diced
  • 1 sm Onion; chopped
  • 3 c Milk
  • 3 tb Flour
  • 1 cn (17 oz.) corn; undrained
  • 1/4 c Parsley; chopped
  • 1/4 ts Pepper
  • 1/4 ts Thyme
  • To taste salt

 Directions

Saute bacon & onion inlareg saucepan over med. heat till cooked trhough.
Combine 1/2 cup milk with flour and mix till smooth. Add to pan with
remainin milk, parsley, corn, pepper,thyme and salt to taste. Bring to
boil, stirring till thickened.

Per serving: 169 Calories; 8g Fat (40% calories from fat); 8g Protein; 18g
Carbohydrate; 24mg Cholesterol; 170mg Sodium
