Cran-Apple Sauce

 Ingredients List

  • 1 c Fresh cranberries
  • 8 Apples, peeled, cored,
  • -chopped
  • 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1 Stick cinnamon, halved
  • -crosswise
  • 6 Whole cloves
  • Ground nutmeg


Combine cranberries, apples, sugar in slow-cooker. Place cinnamon and
cloves in center of 6" square of cheesecloth. Pull up around sides; tie to
form pouch. Place in pot. Cover and cook on LOW 4-5 hours or until
cranberries and apples are very soft. Remove spice bag. Puree hot fruit in
blender or food processor fitted with metal blade. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
