Creamsicle Pie
Ingredients List
- Mix: 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk, 4 egg yolks, 1/2 cup orange juice and
- 1 tbsp grated orange rind (I used fresh). Pour into a grahm cracker
- crust. (I use store bought) Bake in a PREHEATED 325 oven for 35 minutes
- (like a typical cheesecake, check with a knife or toothpick) Mix 3 oz of
- softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 cup of sour cream,
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract together until smooth. When pie is done, remove
- from oven and top the pie with the other mixture. Return the pie to the
- oven and bake for 10 more minutes. Cool. Serve chilled. Enjoy!

Title: Creamsicle Pie

Yield: 8 Servings
2/3 c Boiling Water
3 oz Box Orange Jello
1/2 c Cold Water
Ice Cubes
8 oz Tub Cool Whip
6 oz Shortbread crust
Cool Whip for garnish
Stir boiling water into Jello in large bowl 2 minutes or until dissolved.
Mix cold water and ice to make 1 1/4 cups. Gradually add to gelatin,
stirring until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites).
Remove any remaining ice.
Stir in tub Cool Whip with wire whisk until smooth. Refrigerate 10 to 15
minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound. Spoon into crust.
(There is likely to be some left over)
Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Decorate top of pie with Cool Whip just
before serving.
