Crispy Crunch Bars
Ingredients List
- 3 c Rolled oats; large flake
- 1/4 c Sugar
- 2/3 c Brown sugar
- 1 c Butter
- 6 oz Chocolate chips
- 3 3/8 c Peanut butter
Directions
Melt butter, add both sugars and oats. Press into an ungreased 9x13 pan.
Bake 12-14 minutes in a preheated 350F oven, or until bubbly and edges are
slightly brown. Cool, then place in fridge for a short while. Melt
chocolate chips and peanut butter together in double boiler, and spread on
the fully cooled base. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares when fully
cool.
NOTES : Can also be a great no-bake square...I found out by happy mistake.
