Crispy Fried Chicken
Ingredients List
- 1 Chicken, cut-up
- 1 1/2 c Unseasoned bread crumbs
- 1 c Flour
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 ts Pepper
- 1 tb Paprika
- 1/2 ts Garlic powder
- 1/2 ts Onion powder
- 2 Eggs
Directions
Mix flour, bread crumbs and spices together in medium sized paper or
plastic bag. Dip chicken pieces in egg then shake two or three pieces at a
time in bag. Put coated chicken skin side down in greased pan. Bake
chicken at 400 for thirty minutes, then turn over, reduce heat to 350, and
continue baking for another 20-30 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes and
gravy.
