Crock Pot Apple Cider Barbecue Pulled Pork
Crock Pot Apple Cider Barbecue Pulled Pork
- Recipe Submitted by Cobb on 11/29/2014
Category: Breakfast, Breads, Apples
Ingredients List
- 4-6 lbs. pork shoulder
- All purpose seasoning (I used McCormick's Pork Seasoning)
- 1 bottle (about 18 ounces) of your favorite barbecue sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider
Directions
Rub the all-purpose seasoning on the pork shoulder, making sure to cover the whole thing. Place the pork in the crock pot.
Pour the apple cider on top of the pork shoulder. Then add the whole bottle of barbecue sauce into the crock pot. Lift the pork up so that some of the sauces can get underneath the pork.
Cook the pork on high for 6 hours or on low for 10 hours. Once done shred the pulled pork in the crock pot and mix with all the juices.
Serve plain, on sandwiches, or use in other meals.
