Crockpot Cheesesteak Pulled Chicken

Ingredients List
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 2 sweet onions, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tsps paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 8 oz. shiner blonde beer
- 8 oz. white cheddar cheese, grated
- 6 whole grain buns, toasted
Directions
1. Turn the crockpot to low.
2. In a small bowl combine the salt, pepper and paprika. Lay the chicken out and pat dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle the salt, pepper and paprika mixture over each of the chicken breasts.
3. Place the green peppers into the crockpot followed by the onions and garlic cloves. Place the chicken into the crockpot and top with the shiner beer or your favorite beer. Let it cook for 6 hours. Using a fork start to shred the chicken. Stir with a big wooden spoon to incorporate all the juice and vegetables. Stir in the cheese and let it cook for another 15 minutes.
4. Serve with toasted whole grain buns.
5. If chicken is not thoroughly cooked within the 6 hour time frame allow it to cook until done.
