Crockpot Roast, Potatoes & Carrots Recipe

 Ingredients List

  • Ingredients:
  • 1-2 lbs. Stew Meat
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 5 Large Potatoes
  • 1 Bag of Baby Carrots
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Cup Water



Turn crockpot on low.
Put carrots in the crockpot.
Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks.
Place the potatoes in the crockpot on top of the carrots.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the chunks of stew meat and brown on all sides (Approx. 2 min./side.)
Place the browned stew meat on top of the potatoes.
Slice the onion and put it in the skillet.
Saute the onion for a few minutes.
Place the onion on top of the meat.
Pour the water in the skillet and turn the heat to high.
Add the salt and pepper.
Bring the water to a boil and use a spoon to scrape up any meat drippings in the pan (deglazing).
Pour the water over all of the ingredients in the crockpot.
Put the lid on the crockpot and allow to cook for approximately 8 hours.
