Crunchy Apple Pie

Ingredients List
- 2 c Chopped cooking apples
- 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
- 1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 ts Freshly squeezed lemon
- Juice
- 1/2 c Granulated sugar
- 1/2 c Chopped pecans
- 1/2 c All-purpose flour
- 1 Egg white beaten until
- Foamy
- 1 Egg yolk -- beaten
- 1 9"unbaked pie shell
Directions
Put chopped apples in a large bowl. Add sugar, flour, egg yolk, vanilla,
lemon juice and pecans; mix well. Add egg white. Stir well and pour mixture
into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until
apples are tender and brown. Yield: one 9-inch pie. Formatted for MM7 by
