Crunchy Grape Salad

 Ingredients List

  • Salad Ingredients
  • 3 pounds of Seedless Grapes (mixed varieties)
  • 2 8 ounce blocks of Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • Topping Ingredients
  • 2 Cups roughly chopped Pecans
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

 Directions

For the salad:

1. In a large bowl, blend softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla with a mixer until smooth.
2. Wash grapes, remove from stems and dry. (Do NOT cut grapes.) Carefully fold grapes into the sweet cream cheese mixture.
3. Spread in one 9×13 Baking Dish or two 8×8 Baking Dishes.

For the topping:

1. In a medium mixing bowl blend the nut and brown sugar together until nicely mixed.
2. Sprinkle nut and sugar mixture on top of the grapes and cream cheese mixture.

a reader suggested glazing the nuts with sugar. Or you could make or purchase candied pecans for your topping as well. Yum!
